Durable solutions for coastal conditions
Gömeç is a quiet coastal district at the northern end of the bay, neighbouring Ayvalık; its population is low year-round but swells in summer across Karaağaç and the shoreline neighbourhoods. Most homes here are one- or two-storey summer houses; with the sea right beside them, the chief enemies of renovation are salty wind and high humidity all year. A large share of owners want work done out of season while the house is empty, which steers us toward pre-season maintenance and repair. In empty homes the most common picture is damp that builds from poor airflow, rusting railings and fasteners, and exterior paint faded by the sun. That's why we treat stainless fasteners, sea-air-resistant facade paint and strong ventilation as standard from the start. In this low-density area we also value a quick turnaround on small repairs, because for a remote owner even a tiny leak can grow. With more than thirty years of experience, we see the house in person and listen to how you use it. The survey is free, and afterwards you receive a tailored quote with line items listed clearly.
