Peaceful living spaces in harmony with nature among pine forests.
Çamlık sits on the slope of the bay, leaning against pine forest and highland, above sea level and known for its cool, humid air; the homes here are mostly mountain houses, bungalows and timber-led forest buildings. What defines renovation here is the forest setting's own conditions: damp and fungal risk on wood surfaces that stay shaded for long stretches, pine pollen and resin building up on surfaces, fire sensitivity, and temperatures that drop noticeably at night. The most common need we see is re-protecting exterior timber facades and deck boards against moisture and UV, strengthening insulation, and bringing the forest view into the home through large windows and terraces while keeping heat loss in check. Keeping the wood breathable through the right impregnation extends its life. In mountain houses that sit empty out of season, damp and ventilation are a topic of their own. With more than thirty years on site, we start every project with a survey. The survey is free, and afterwards you receive a tailored quote with line items spelled out clearly.
